Cheer Sport Gyms and our athletes have received many awards and accolades over our 8-year history. We are proud of our athletes for doing their best every time they step on the competition floor and for learning that achieving your goals through hard work will make you a winner in cheerleading and in life. Here is a list of a few accomplishments the Sharks have been working hard to achieve:
- November 2011 City Of Cambridge awards the Cheer Sport Sharks with ‘Sports Organization of the Year’
- June 2011 Cheer Sport Sharks win Future Cheer Nationals in London, England
- May 2011 Great Whites awarded Most Entertaining Performance by Cheer Evolution
- May 2011 17 National Championship won at Cheer Evolution Canadian Nationals
- April 2011 4th & 5th Place at Cheerleading Worlds, Orlando Florida
- April 2011 Ali Moffatt receives ‘International Coach of the Year’ presented by the ICU (International Cheer Union)
- January 2011 Nominated for ‘The Complete All-Star Program’ by JamFest
- January 2011 Cheer Sport Sharks awarded ‘Our Parents Rock’ awarded by JamFest
- June 2010 ‘Best International Team’ awarded by SITA (Spirit Industry Trade Association)
- May 2010 best Fan Spirit & Sportsmanship awarded by Cheer Alliance
- Ali Moffatt & Alana Potter coached team Canada to 3 consecutive gold medals from 2009-11 at the ICU Nations Cup for Team Canada
- 23 Shark athletes have won gold with Team Canada at the ICU Nations Cup
- 3rd Place at Cheerleading World, Orlando Florida 2009
- 2nd Place at Cheerleading Worlds, Orlando Florida, 2007
